The GP & Executive View
Preparing investment committee materials that stand up to scrutiny

We identify where AI removes cost and where it quietly adds risk.
Every engagement begins with a scoping conversation. If a smaller package is the right starting point, we will say so.
Overview
Investment committee memoranda are the most scrutinised documents a deal team produces, and they are usually written in the least available time. Diligence reports, financial models, market research, management presentations and legal findings must be synthesised into a document that supports a decision involving substantial capital.
Committee members then have to read them, often several in a week, and identify the issues that matter. Both sides of that process are constrained by time rather than by judgement, which means genuine risks can be under examined simply because they were on page forty of a long document.
The Strategy
AI works across the full diligence record for a transaction: data room materials, adviser reports, financial models, management materials and the deal team's own notes. It produces a structured first draft of the memorandum, synthesising findings by theme, extracting the key financial metrics, and drawing comparisons against the firm's own prior transactions and stated investment criteria.
Critically, it also works against the deal team's conclusions rather than only for them. Findings that are asserted without support in the diligence record are flagged, risks identified in adviser reports but absent from the memorandum are surfaced, and the questions the committee asked on similar prior transactions are raised in advance. The deal team retains authorship of the judgement, and the analysis is more complete when it reaches the committee.

Results Driven
Memorandum preparation time falls substantially, and the documents that reach committee are more consistent in structure, which makes them faster to read and easier to compare. Deal teams spend their time on the investment case rather than on document assembly.
The committee discussion improves because the material is more complete. Risks that would previously have surfaced late in a process, or not at all, are on the table at the point of decision, and the firm builds a searchable record of its own investment reasoning across transactions.
