Our Services

We identify where AI removes cost and where it quietly adds risk.
Every engagement begins with a scoping conversation. If a smaller package is the right starting point, we will say so.
Sourcing is where AI promises most and disappoints fastest, and the reason is structural. Origination turns on judgement about people, timing and price, while most screening tools return coverage and call it signal. We work on the parts that are genuinely mechanical: monitoring companies and assets against a thesis you have written down, scoring that shows its reasoning so a partner can disagree on the record, and research synthesis that compresses a week of desk work into an afternoon with every claim traceable. We are equally clear about the other side. A system can narrow a long list to the names worth a call. It cannot tell you whether the founder will take yours.

Screening, Scoring and Synthesis
Most origination work starts with monitoring. We build watch lists of companies, sponsors, assets and submarkets, connected to filings, permits, hiring signals, news and the proprietary sources you already pay for. The output is not a feed. It is a short, dated list of changes that matter against a written thesis, routed to the person who owns it. Alongside it we build scoring that ranks candidates on criteria your investment committee would recognise, and records why each name scored as it did, so the criteria can be argued with and revised.
The second half is research. We build synthesis that reads a data room, a set of filings or a fragmented submarket and returns a structured first draft: what the business does, how it makes money, who else is competing, what the obvious diligence questions are. Every claim carries a source. The line sits here. Claude drafts, ranks and summarises. It does not decide what to pursue, it does not price, and it does not speak to a counterparty.

How We Scope Sourcing
We start with a Diagnostic. It is paid, time-boxed and mostly unglamorous: where your deals have actually come from, which sources produced the ones that closed, what your team already screens by hand, and whether the thesis exists in writing anywhere other than a partner's head. It usually ends with a list of things to leave alone.
A Pilot follows on one sourcing workflow, with a named owner, a defined thesis and a measure agreed before we begin, most often whether the originator would have reached those names unaided. Build is production work: monitoring and scoring connected to the CRM and data subscriptions you already hold, with review steps designed in rather than added afterwards. Run covers retuning criteria as the thesis moves and keeping the record of what the system recommended against what the team did instead. Sourcing criteria decay quietly. Run is where that gets caught.
