Investor Relations
Making capital calls and distributions clear the first time

We identify where AI removes cost and where it quietly adds risk.
Every engagement begins with a scoping conversation. If a smaller package is the right starting point, we will say so.
Overview
Capital calls and distributions are the moments when operational quality becomes most visible to investors. A notice that is late, unclear, inconsistent with the partnership agreement or difficult to reconcile against the investor's own records generates immediate enquiries and lasting doubt.
The complexity is real. Different commitment levels, side letter terms, excused investors, defaulting investors, rebalancing across closes, multiple currencies and varied fee arrangements mean that a single call event produces many different investor specific calculations, each of which must be correct and explainable.
The Strategy
Calculation logic is driven from the fund's governing documents and the investor register rather than from a spreadsheet maintained by one person. AI supports the preparation of each event by computing investor level amounts, applying side letter and excusal terms, checking the result against commitment balances and prior activity, and flagging any investor whose calculation falls outside expected parameters before the notice is issued.
Notices are then generated with explanation attached. Each investor receives not only the amount and deadline but a clear reconciliation of how it was derived, presented in the format that investor has agreed. When queries arrive, the investor relations team has the full calculation trail available immediately, and routine reconciliation questions are drafted for review rather than researched from scratch.

Results Driven
Notice preparation time falls sharply, and the error rate falls with it. Investors reconcile the notice against their own records without needing to call, which removes the concentrated burst of enquiries that typically follows each event.
The finance and investor relations functions also gain confidence in the process itself. Exceptions are identified before distribution rather than after, the audit trail supports both the administrator and the annual audit, and the firm can service a larger and more complex investor base without proportionate headcount growth.
